KING OF PRUSSIA-- The Mother of Divine Providence (MDP) JV and Varsity concluded their memorable seasons by capturing the JV Parade of Champions and Coaches Bowl Championship.  The Varsity defeated a very tough St. Joes of Collingdale team 28-7 on Friday under the lights of Heuser, while the JV pulled out a 20-13 win over a great St. Joes of Collingdale team on Sunday night at Springfield High School.

MDP Varsity Highlights- HEUSER PARK--The MDP Defense forced 5 turnovers (4 Ints, 1 Fumble) in route to shutting down a potent St. Joes Offense for the 28-7 victory.  The MDP Offense was paced by Ryan Yenchik's memorable night (3 Rushing TD's and 1 Punt Return TD).  The win capped a great season for the Varsity as they concluded their season at 9-1 and brought home a championship trophy to the Varsity program for the first time since 1991.  Congratulations to all the Players, Parents, and Coaches on a excellent season.

MDP JV Highlights- SPRINGFIELD H.S.--The MDP JV came away with 20-13 nail-biting win against a very tough St. Joes team.  Trevor Morris lead the offense with 3 TD's on the offensive side while the MDP Defense came up with a huge 4th down stop to finish the game out.  The JV won its first JV Parade of Champions in school history and finshed the season undefeated at 10-0.  Congratulations to Coach Mark Shaw and his staff on a memorable season.
